ISKON Temple of Delhi
Built by the International society for Krishna consciousness, ISKON temple in New Delhi is also known as Hare Rama Hare Krishna Temple. Dedicated to lord Krishna this temple houses deities like Radha Krishna, Ram-Sita-Laxman, Hanuman and Chaitanya Mahaprabhu. Open 7 days a week, only the prayer hall of the temple remains closed from 12pm to 4 pm (daily).Aesthetic Russian artists have decorated the interiors of the temples representing the various phases of lives of the deities. To Make the Devotees Understand the Story of the popular Epics- Ramayana and Mahabharata in an interesting manner special multimedia shows are organized inside the temple. Every Sunday evening programs of kirtan, Pravachan and Aarti are arranged collectively with the museum show.
Birla Mandir
Birla mandir (Temple) of Delhi is in the Cannaught Place area and is also known as Laxmi Narayan Mandir. Built by the eminent Birla family in the year 1938, this artistically designed templewas inaugurated by Mahatma Gandhi. Built in Nagara style of architecture, the influence of the contemporary designs is evidently seen, the exterior of the temple is decorated with white marbles and red sandstone dominated by tall curved towers. The best time to visit the temple is during the festival of Janmashtami (Lord Krishna's birth anniversary) as throughout that time period famous displays are organized. At the backyard of the temple, the miniature rock temples have impressive qualities.
Akshardham Temple - Delhi
Built in the year 2005, Akshardham is one of the recently constructed NewDelhi Temples that have been listed in the World - Guinness World Record Committee as the Largest Hindu Temple Complex. Another fact to notice is that in the whole architecture use of steel is thoroughly avoided as it is built only with sandstone and marble. The main attraction of the temple is that it screens an Epic Period Film that features an exciting and inspiring journey of a child-yogi of 18th Century, Neelkanth Varni. Inside the temple, there is a restaurant and an ayurvedic bazaar. At night a colorful musical water fountain that enchants the Vedic rhymes add life to the atmosphere.
Delhi-Lotus Temple
The lotus temple or the Bahai temple is a beautifully constructed structure of partially floating lotus set in the middle of Pools and Garden. The petals are made of white marbles contributing to the exquisite structure. It is famous for its unique 2 hours prayer session that includes recitations of the teachings from all the religions. The fact that in whole Asia it is the only Bahai temple of worship categorizes it as a special tourist destination. The besttime to visit the temple is in the evening when the setting rays of sun add to the beauty of the beautiful lotus.
Chattarpur Mandir
Situated at a distance of 4 km from Qutab Minar, the Chattarpur Mandir is a fine example of flamboyant and rich temples. The main temple is built in south Indian form of architecture and is devoted to goddess Durga. The campus of the temple is spread over a large area and during the Durga Puja days one can see long queues of devotees especially the local Hindus. The temple has beautiful gardens and lawns where one can sit and enjoy the peaceful environment.

Kali Bari Temple in New Delhi is dedicated to Goddess Kali. Especially dear to the Bengali community of Delhi, Kali Bari Mandir in Delhi is the centre of celebration during the festival of Durga Puja held every October.
Hanuman Mandir
Hanuman mandir is considered to be one of the five temples of the ancient times of Mahabharata. Situated southwest of Connaught place, inside the mandir is the idol of lord Hanuman which is highly revered by the Hindus.
Sri Digambar Jain Lal Mandir
Built in 1656, it is the oldest Jain temple situated in old Delhi. It has been nicknamed as Lal Mandir by the devotees. The main devotional area of the Mandir is on the first floor that is accessed by ascending to the terrace after passing the courtyard of the temple.
Yoga Maya Devi Temple
The Yoga Maya Devi Temple date back to 11th century and is dedicated to Maya Devi, the Adhishatri deity of Haridwar. It is also considered to be the place where the navel and the heart of Goddess Sati had fallen.
