The temple is open to pilgrims from 5 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Prakshalpuja - The first puja of the day at 5 a.m. comprising the water abhisheka and flower offerings.
Shodoshpchar Puja - It is conducted twice a day at 7 a.m. and at 12 noon. At both these this time the Ganpati Atharvashirsh is recited.
Panchopchar Puja - This is performed at 8 p.m.
The temple closes for the devotees after the Shejarti at 10 p.m.
Naivedya - The food is offered to the deity thrice a day:
In the morning Khichadi (made of Rice) is offered.
In the afternoon the whole meal with sweets is offered.
At night milk and rice is offered.
Devotees can perform Pooja on their own.
On receiving appropriat donation from devotees temple trust performs virtuous deedslike
Pooja.Sahastravartan,Ekadashani on behalf of devotees.Holy ashesh & prasad are sent by post.
Construction of big Bhakta - Niwas is in progress. At present common hall is available.
Shree Varadvinayak has his own ornaments & they are put on festive ocassions.
Hotels are not available. However, poojary can make lunch arrangements on giving prior orders.
Temple trust has proposed a wonderful scheme for Ganesh devotees.
The person who will give a life long donation of Rs.31000 to trust, he/she will be allowed to stay in Yatri Niwas free of charge for one day in year. As well he/she will be allowed to do pooja etc of Varadvinayak on his own on the particular day.
Mahad is surrounded by pictureseque surrounding.In monsoon beauty of Mahad is undescrible. Population is very thin. Mahad is very good for meditation & doing penances. The great saint Gagangiri Maharaj's math is also a beautiful & peaceful place. Walwan dam's water flows near this dam. Gagangiri Maharaj had performed panance in the water.
