Suru And Aryan Valleys From Srinagar

The Suru valley is a valley in the Ladakh region of Jammu and Kashmir, which is drained by the Suru River, a powerful tributary of the Indus river. The valley's most significant town is Kargil.The landscape of the Suru valley is wonderful, especially when it gets dotted by flowers in the summer. It expands from Kargil town upto the Penzi La watershed, from where the Suru river rises.DHA HANU (The land of Aryans) Situated to the south west of Leh,the scape covers the beautiful villages of Kaltsey, Domkhar, Skurbuchan and Achinathang. Of the many, only two villages of Dha and Hanu are open only for tourist.

Daywise Itinerary Suru and Aryan valleys from Srinagar 4 Night 5 Days

Day 1: Arrival at Kargil - Pick up from Srinagar and reach Kargil by afternoon/ evening from Srinagar and on the way visit the famous war memorial and pay homage to the brave hearts who gave away their lives. Have a glimpse of the famous Tiger Hill and Tolloling. If time permits visit the legendary Bhimbat Stone. Check into the Hotel pre booked at Kargil.

Day 2: Kargil sightseeing - After breakfast leave for full day excursion to the Kargil War Hall of Fame at Helipad from where you can have an overlook of KARGIL town. Return to Hotel for hot lunch and leave for Munshi Aziz Bhat Museum of Silk Route Central Asian Trade and Kargil Artifacts. Shop in the market for Kargil Apricot, Apricot Oil/Jam and Pashmina Shawls. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 3: Enchanting Suru Valley Trip - After breakfast leave for full day excursion to the enchanting Suru Valley. Suru Valley is one of the most fertile and picturesque valley of the region. It extends from Kargil in the south towards Zanskar in the north. Visit the 7th century 7 Mtrs tall Maytre Buddha statue at Karcheykhar. Also the ruins of the Karchaykhar could be seen. The valley is framed for NUN (7135Mtrs) and Kun (7035 Mtrs) along with other lesser peaks which is seen from the camping site at Damsna. and move back towards Kargil for an overnight good night sleep at the hotel. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 4: Aryan Valley Trip - After breakfast leave for full day excursion to the Aryan Valley. On the way visit the famous 06 Mtr high rock Buddha statue in a cliff across the village Apati connected with well laid path from the motorable approach road. Hamotingla (13202 Ft) and the Moon Village (Lalung) and the famous Batalik sector is on the way. A cultural program of the Aryans would be shown in the Aryan valley. Enjoy your lunch and move back to Kargil. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 5: Drop at Airport - After breakfast, checkout from hotel and transfers to Airport -
