The Parnasala Village is the place where River Sabari meets River Godavari as well as the one where Lord Rama stayed for a long time during his 14 year exile with his brother and wife. Their foot prints and the hut where they stayed are easily seen in this place.
Sri Sitaramachandra Swamy Temple displays many avatars of Lord Vishnu of the 17th century. The temple is quite popular amongst Rama devotees due to which numerous numbers of pujas and hawans are held here every day.
The Abhaya Anjaneya Temple is dedicated to the famous disciple of Lord Rama, Hanuman. This temple includes finely crafted walls and floors along with its unique sculptures of various gods and goddesses.
The Bhadrachala Rama Temple is the main temple complex of the abode of the Lord Sri Rama and it also comprises smaller temples of other gods and goddesses. There is also a tiny museum within the complex of this temple, which consists of jewellery of Ramadas as well as other deities.
Dummugudem is the place where according to Ramayana, Rama killed 14000 demons. This village is said to be built upon the ashes of these demons due to which its name is Dummugudem.
Another prominent sightseeing in the place namely Jattayu Paaka is also associated with the stories of Ramayana. According to legends, a bird named Jattayu tried to obstruct Ravana while he was taking away Devi Sita on his chariot after kidnapping her. The place is a memoir of the fight between Jattayu and Ravana.
