Overview

Gir National Park & Wildlife Sanctuary is the last abode to the surviving population of the Asiatic Lion in the wild. Gir has about 400 lions and 300 leopards, making it as one of the major 'big cat' concentrations in India. the sanctuary has large water bodies like the Kamleshwar Dam that are good for marsh crocodiles, reptiles and birds.

Daywise Itinerary for Wildlife Tour Gir National Park

Day 01: Ahmedabad-Junagadh/ Rajkot/ Diu-Gir National Park- Arrive at Junagadh/ Rajkot/ Diu from Ahmedabad. Transfers to Gir National Park. Check in to your Resort and the rest of the day at leisure.

Day 02: Gir National Park- Get up early in the morning and drive to the park for lion tracking, birding and wildlife viewing. Activities like nature walk, jeep safari , crocodile farm visit, Devaliya visit available at extra charges. Overnight stay at Resort.

Day 03: Gir National Park- Junagadh/ Rajkot/ Diu- Ahmedabad- You might like to take another jeep safari to the Park. After breakfast, drive to Junagadh/ Rajkot/ Diu to board your connecting train for your onward journey. Tour Ends.
